we are walking down a dangerous road here. what if next summer Dias, Ederson, Laporte will find out they prefer as well another league are accepting lot lesser fees for them as well than what we would be charged for them?

market tells us exactly what are the going prices look at Cucurella, Nunez, Fofana etc bids. shows that the likes of Jesus, Sterling were undervalued and we should have charge significantly more for them if they did not have 12 months left only on their contracts.

so when someone like Bernardo with the immense season he just had and 3 years on his contract this mentioned prices of 50-60m bids is ridiculous. we couldnt get someone from fucking Brighton who had 1 good PL season at a mediocre team not someone who was setting the tempo and form for months at a club like City.

Bernardo is not a talent/potential, he is a world class player at top of his game with incredible technique and engine.

Reckon his bird has moved away and that’s why he’s living with Cancelo?

“I’m not moving back there”
She can stay there for 12 months we are not going to be guilt tripped in sending him to Paris or Barcelona for a discounted fee.

Right, if he’s upset about not going to Paris then I’m confused. That place is the biggest shithole I have ever been to. Manchester is actually 100 times nicer than there. Not even taking the piss. Place stinks and unsafez

And full of frogs.

nope, no wifi, can't laugh at all the sheep on here.
on topic.
the turnover of players was too big for one window . once they gel it will improve not till next season . that's providing Pep stays.
Hopefully we can stay in the Prem even with Pep getting sacked midway through the season.

Thee plane, boss, thee plane...

Steffan (loaned out) to Ortega
Jesus to Haaland
Sterling to Alvarez
Fernandinho to Phillips
Zinchenko to Gomez

And that's not including Torres who we had at the start of last season.

If we lose Bernardo, tough not to agree with @Bill that'll we'll be weaker.

I already thought we needed 2 players more without losing anyone this summer. At the moment we're hoping Cole Palmer, Rico Lewis, Wilson-Esbrand and Luke Mbete are those players to step up.

Anyway 3 years left on his contract, Bernardo is a £110m player minimum.
Bernardo is suffering in the post-Covid market. No one (rags aside maybe) are paying north of £100m for a 28 year old midfielder.

I would tell barca and PSG you can have bernardo if u swap De Jong or Neymar respectively. Otherwise forget about it as we won't be able to get someone in now of the required quality. Forget money- what is 80m at this stage of the window going to buy us?
