I think he will stay because city will dig their heels in but this will 100% be Bernardo’s last season with us

We won’t be doing mendes any favours ffs!! Tough shit if this is a chance to make some good money on his part. Nobody offers the thick end of £80m then he stays.

i thought he wanted to be near portugal in a warm climate. paris is hardly a warm place and likewise no closer to portugal either. maybe his missus wants to live in paris
Thought it was because his Mrs’ family are in Barca? Makes you wonder

If we sell Bernardo and don't bring in replacement we are fucked...

KDB and Gundogan are 31+, they can't even track back any more, which means that any decent team will destroy our midfield.. Just look at KDB's mistake yesterday, simple ball lost during simple build-up play. Gundo isn't pro at it either, so there is no use for them near our box and Rodri alone can't handle that, he isn't fucking Terminator..

So Pep will have to utilize Phillips who is a newbie or move Grealish / Foden there..

We are loosing certainty Bernardo delivers and which formulates like -> Rodri-Bernardo duo destroys any midfield in the world..

and 59m ? When that fucker Anthony Gordon costs 60 ? God, please throw meteor to this fucked up planet..

Steffan (loaned out) to Ortega
Jesus to Haaland
Sterling to Alvarez
Fernandinho to Phillips
Zinchenko to Gomez

And that's not including Torres who we had at the start of last season.

If we lose Bernardo, tough not to agree with @Bill that'll we'll be weaker.

I already thought we needed 2 players more without losing anyone this summer. At the moment we're hoping Cole Palmer, Rico Lewis, Wilson-Esbrand and Luke Mbete are those players to step up.

Anyway 3 years left on his contract, Bernardo is a £110m player minimum.
