Bernardo Silva

I fear the likes of Silva KDB Mahrez Walker have so little time left at Manchester City and are or should be planning a future away from the club, Gundogan is the first to jump and possibly Silva is next, So the next 2 or 3 transfer windows are going to be Key to getting the right players in,

Selling and letting Bernardo Silva leave will be a Gamble, That work rate he offers the team is the work of 2 players really, then adding the world-class tag in 2 or 3 places in the middle of the midfield means you are missing big options for Pep,

Look Manchester City have to move on pretty fast being top dogs, We can never stand still and look at what we have done and say look what we have won,

I’m really surprised Kev hasn’t been linked away already after the treble. Another one I felt may bow out at the top, I was expecting links to Saudi Arabia or the likes of PSG/Barça/Real/Bayern etc but as of yet nothing…. Luckily.

Agree with the first part but Foden lacks that *pausa* quality which Pep values so highly in Bernardo. Bernardo looks exceptionally calm on the ball whereas Foden is much more action oriented and instinctive. Foden is a better attacker, though.
I think Kovacic looks pretty calm on the ball, so a trio of Rodri, Kovacic and Foden to start the season not too bad.
Alvarez Haaland Grealish up top.

Not allowed to live in Saudi with his partner unless married?

I mean if it were genuinely the sticking point to a superstar like Silva in his prime agreeing to go there, I wouldn’t be surprised if they let him live in Portugal, train with Benfica and fly him in for matches..

I would hate to lose him, but the more worrying thing is how much the Saudis seem to be offering huge salaries to top players, within five years we will have none of the top talent left in England if this carries on, and the TV revenue will go backwards as a result. sportswashing is in its infancy. City are better placed than most to survive, but I think there will be a very different profile for football sooner than many people realise.
I agree things maybe changing faster than people realise.
It did cross my mind that if the PL don't relent on their farcical persecution of City where they don't even seem to know what they think City have done wrong that it might be City look for other bigger and better allies, . Far too early to be definitive but worth keeping an eye on if the PL implodes as it might.

Same as Gundo let him leave for nothing at the end of the season if any interested clubs don't want to meet our valuation. As much as I want him to sign a new deal I don't think he will.

End of next season. He has 2 years left.

I think so. You don’t see many Bernardo’s coming along. Dias, Haaland, Kev, Walker, Rodri stepped up. Where do u find another Bernardo?
We haven´t replaced David imo ,would be excellent to have that kind of player in our team atm ,but there is none i guess.

KDB maybe is thinking about his future, but like Gundogan it will be on his terms and a BIG thank you from the club, The 3 midfielders KDB Silva Gundogan have played a major part for 7 years now and won everything, So I hope to enjoy KDB for a couple more season
