He is if he's happy to be that. It looked increasingly obvious he was sucking on a lemon when the biggest prizes were being handed to us.

Contrast that with Kyle!
I was sat near his ‘entourage’ at the cup final and neither them or him looked happy about his lack of action, the CL final can only of put a lid on it, shame really as thinking back to the Spurs game, he helped turn our season around & it looked like he was going to go big at the back end of the season again

He did, but his final weeks of the season he put in some lamentable performances.

I couldn't believe this was a guy trying to convince Pep to play in our biggest games to come.

When Gundo lifts up the Champions League trophy, Mahrez looks like he can't be bothered until some of the other lads grab him.

I hope so, can't stand him.

Brilliant on his day, scored some big goals, but can't take to him as a player who seemingly always thinks and plays for himself first?
Not sure I agree with that. He has been fantastic for us and useful player. Limit to how many players we can let go at one time.

He was a frustrating watch that’s for sure, at the time I was looking at him & Phil to step up when they got minutes, neither were going to dislodge Jack & Bernie, but if they were being realistic and optimistic, they’d want to be next pick if someone got injured, Phil got minutes in the final, Mahrez got nowt, I’m sure Pep picked up on the ‘sad face’ he so despises. If Mahrez is only going to offer what he did in the last month of the season then it’s time to thank him & move him on

Personal preference, purely.

One dimensional, I find him a flat-track bully who looks sensational when we are two goals to the good.

I don't have a problem letting a number of players go as long as we are intent on replacing them with younger quality.

The Champions League win has been a bookending for some players and City alike.

totally agree he’s been fantastic for us, but he has the potential to be another Cancelo for me, I just don’t see him shaking the disappointment of missing both finals & other big games off, nobody needs that carrying into the following season (it’s a quick turnaround) best for all concerned that his time at City ends now, new players can be played into the team over the season, and if Bernie stays 92% of our gun eleven will be playing come September
