He's not leaving. Stop believing barca propaganda.

They don't have the money to pay Greizeman and had to loan him back to Athletico.
They don't have the money to pay Couthinho.
They don't have the money to pay FDJ.
They don't have the money to pay Pique (he's deferred 40 mil of his salary).

They couldn't pay Maradona so he left after 1 year.
They couldn't pay Ronaldo so he left after 1 year.
The one time they paid Messi his fair market value they ended up in a financial mess and in tons of debt.

They are not a big financial club.
Stop believing their lies lol!

And Bernardo has 1 big contract left to sign in his career. Why should he take a pay cut? Jorge Mendes too will like to maximize on it.

Any way you slice it.. other than the propaganda.. Bernardo moving to Barca is very very unlikely. It's simple math!
I don't believe it for one second (which is why I am not concerned) and if it does happen it will probably next season if we did cash in on Bernardo Silva

Most likely either of 2 things will happen..

70% Bernardo realizes he can't get the money anywhere else and signs an extension
30% He runs his contract down and we let him go with a year left in 2 years when he's 30.

Either way we hold all the cards here.

Zero chance we lose Bernardo, Jesus and Sterling in one window...zero chance...imo
I’m not so certain and I think you could even throw Zinchenko and Mahrez into the equation. With the players already signed, plus a couple more signings and some academy players we could do a fairly significant refresh of the squad and still be really strong next season.

Neither IMO, he doesn't sign an extension because its not the money, he doesn't run his contract down either because he doesn't really want to wait that long. I think the most likely is we sell him next summer for a good fee and start planning for that and Gundogan leaving now.

I could be wrong though but I think there's more against that happening than for

For example it's possible but..

1. City aren't likely to want to let Gundo and Bernardo go in the same window
2. City aren't likely to let Bernardo go on the cheap with 2 years left
3. Barca aren't going to get a magic windfall of money in a year so much so that they are completely and fully able to spend on players without worrying about their debt.

Idk why but i have a bad feeling that we will end up making mcatee the silva replacement after hearing shouts yesterday that he won't leave on loan a d will be introduced to the first team

If that happens it’s because Pep and his team think he’s ready to step up so there’s no need for a bad feeling. From the little I have seen of him he looks the real deal.

If he isn't extending and we want maximum value then 2 years left is the optimum time for us, Barcelona aren't his only option, though if he wants Spain / Portugal then he is limited and I can see that he'd need to hang on for his price to come down. In which case we could maybe get 2 more years from him.
