I would imagine it would be nearly impossible to replace him so late in the window...
Deferred rather than defaulted I think. The players that altered their contracts agreed to it.Barcelona haven’t defaulted in wages? Apart from DeJong, Ter Stegen, Lenglet and Pique?
It will be.I would imagine it would be nearly impossible to replace him so late in the window...
Luncheon meat ... maybe ... but vouchers and they can swivel.Probably offer us it in Luncheon Vouchers!
Wages being deferred isn't defaulting.Barcelona haven’t defaulted in wages? Apart from DeJong, Ter Stegen, Lenglet and Pique?
I think those 4 might not have done as they appear to be the 4 facing legal action. They didn’t pay them what was due so that to me is defaulted.Deferred rather than defaulted I think. The players that altered their contracts agreed to it.
It’s fucking close at best. Wages were due and they weren’t paid. I take it you’d be thinking about differences in d words if your boss defaulted/deferred your wages? Let’s face it barcelona are a **** of a club, and their public bullying of some of their players makes them look like even bigger cuntsWages being deferred isn't defaulting.
Apparently Bernardo's is a boyhood Barcelona supporter but it doesn't mean we should give him away either.I truly don't understand why a top player, who is wanted here, playing for a top team as ours would want to go to that mess of a club
Who are we looking to replace him with then? Paqueta? Grealish/Foden into midfield and winger coming in?My personal opinion is Bernie will go late in the day but we have already covered that base, should it happen

I think we should also point out how sunny it is in Manchester these days, and it’s only going to get better
And Barcelona's winters are just as bad as Manchester's.I think we should also point out how sunny it is in Manchester these days, and it’s only going to get better
I have no idea of his family situation..he is Portuguese, from Lisbon..surely the Covid situation would be the same if in Manchester as Barcelona if family were in Portugal ?? OK I can accept Barcelona is nicer than Manchester, I can accept the weather is better, flights from Manchester to Portugal maybe an hour and a half longer, but they speak Catalan/Spanish in Barcelona..perhaps a polyglot..I get the pull of RM,Barca..but Barca are in dire straits.. I do get it..we are all different..but when I think of Sergio,David,Zaba coping in Manchester this conclusion does frustrate me if correct. I will miss the wee man, for sure, but FFS go if you are going,go, and let us move on as a club.Wants to start a family with his missus and bring them up closer to relatives.
The guy was stuck in a flat in central Manchester during lockdown, can't begrudge him wanting a different lifestyle at this stage in his career.
Love him to bits, remains a top professional and respectful of City's stance, he won't gripe if nothing materialises for him this month.
Purely a lifestyle issue.
Cheeky fucker.Yep, but it's still Manchester.
You can put lipstick on a pig...
Leave my wife out of thisYep, but it's still Manchester.
