Bernardo Silva

He won't go and I've said it all summer. Soriano said our window is done and I believe him. It makes no sense whatsoever to weaken our squad at this stage of the window. Bernardo may want to go but he won't sulk if he doesn't and he will give his all for the club for another season.

I do think next summer will be the right time though. He will have 2 years left on his deal and his value will only go down from here. I'm not convinced he will sign a new deal so we need to plan for life after him. I suspect if we got an offer of around £65m-£70m next year we'd do a deal.

if the PSG thing is true makes me wonder if it’s more to do with money than location
i thought he wanted to be near portugal in a warm climate. paris is hardly a warm place and likewise no closer to portugal either. maybe his missus wants to live in paris

This is starting to get annoying, and now it's Bernardo's fault. I am sure the team gave him a fair valuation and if it was met on time, he would leave. Neither were met, so he should just accept he is staying one more season and stop Mendes from creating pressure.

80m valuation was very fair, and if Barcelona nor PSG met it, that's not City problem who gave all the facilities for Bernardo to go.

If he goes to PSG, he can leave, if he wants to go, I don't mind. But then Neymar or someone should come in his place.

I get the attraction of Paris. But from a sporting point of view, how any top player would want to leave the premier league and play in that shite league is beyond me.
