Bert Trautmann - R.I.P

Had the honour of seeing Bert play so i am lucky, my Dads favourite City player as well.
R.I.P. Big Man
 
Shocked and gutted to hear this ... he seemed in good form only last year.

Thanks for all the memories and legends Bert.

Bert was a highly respected gentleman throughout the game. Will be sadly missed. RIP
 
was one of my boyhood heroes - went to the testimonial at Maine Road- what a night such an atmosphere- the guy was really moved when he spoke to the crowd- a real hero!

Saw him sent off against West Ham whne we got battered tho' - that was a bad one- he peel off his green jersey and walked off head held high looking very physical
