Richard Edgill kicking the ball out for a Corner and City getting a goal kick. Not sure against who or how long ago (i was only about 8).

And that is the worst refereeing decision you have witnessed in all your years of watching City?
He obviously doesn't get out much!

Either that or the club should give him a S/T for life if he's that lucky!

I remember a game against Norwich where one of our players (I think it was Darren Huckerby) was flagged offside in his own half! One that showed officials up for not even knowing the basic rules. Last season there were a few that went against us. The double foul on Lescott at Everton when he was taken out in the box by the keeper and a defender. The blatant hand ball by Neville at Everton when we were again denied a penalty. The offside 'goal' Sunderland scored against us in added time. However sticking to the thread the worst decisions I can recall were the Tiatto 'goal' at M'boro, the Kompany tackle on nani and the Kevin Reeves header all those years ago v Liverpool in the League Cup. I wear Blue tinted specs so I can't remember any that went in our favour ...! ;)

worst- utds pen in fa cup at swamp when we was leading 1-0 from rosler
definitely this.... ive seen some bad one's ( Kevin Reeves header vs Scousers ) but that penaty at OT was a fuckin disgrace , even Utds players didnt appeal !!!! , i can still see that bald headed , tache faced twat of a ref now , cant think of his name , ......... oh thats it ..C***!
the reason he gave that penalty had nothing to do with that game, it was because it was the first game he had to officiate for united since he sent cuntona off at palace, it was a gift of the highest order. Wilkie you shithouse if your reading this I hope you get Rogered by the biggest bull on this planet you arsehole, you and foy?

regarding the phantom pen,did wilkie ever ref us again after that? i waited and waited for that twat but never saw him again.

Worst - Alf Grey, League Cup SF 1st leg v Liverpool 1981

1. Disallowed a perfectly good Kevin Reeves header for a "foul" that no-one else saw.

2. Awarded Liverpool a very dubious free kick from which they scored the winner.

Best - Away game at Spurs, 72/73 I think, Frannie Lee clearly punches the ball into the net but the officials miss it, City won 3-2 IIRC.

Yup I remember it very well... how about v Arsenal away (72/73) when Sammy Nelson (IIRC) dived full length across the goal and punched a Franny Lee effort over the bar. Everyone in the stadium saw it (including a 12 yo me) except for Roger Kirkpatrick

Bellamy getting sent off against Bolton a couple of seasons ago for getting fouled.
Clattenberg told Hughes that he didn't like Bellamy at half time. Then he sent him off in the second half!

Edgehill was bundled over in the box against west brom at home in division 1. Got a second yellow for diving.
