Best and worst refereeing decisions in City matches

Good one was Balotelli not being caught for his stamp on Parker as he went on to score the winner.

Worst decision ever. A match a couple of years ago when the Dippers sneaked a 0 - 0. The Forum was in a rage for a horror tackle by Mascerano on Barry but this decision went largely unnoticed.

Torres got a run on Nedhum I think, beat him in the Air and flicked it on. Torres was at least a foot away from making any contact with our player. The always superb Peter Walton got a Yellow card out and brandished it to Torres.

You could see the other players from both sides shaking their heads in utter bewilderment.

Atwell (spelling ?). Enough said.
For the older readers.......Alex Dawsons punch into the net at Maine Road. Think that put us down. Only one person never saw it.
Remember a game at Liverpool around New year. Brucey manhandled Trevor Francis in the area for about two minutes pulling and tugging with the ref about a foot away. , nothing given. Think we won 3-1.

All time worst ! Has to be .sol Campbell knocked the ball out of his own goalkeepers hands (main rd 90' s ) ball falls to huckerby who slams it in the net !! Ref gives foul on keeper no city player within 5yrds even the commentator on m.o.t.d said wot was that for . We got relagated by 2 points that yr .

That was about a week after Danny Tiatto's goal was disallowed away to Boro, the following week we went 1 up at home to villa and they came back to win 3-1.
If either or both of those decisions had been given correctly we would have stayed up.

Mark 'The Bookie' Clattenburg hamstringing City by sending Boyata off against Arsenal (when they were good) after 4 minutes.

Halsey, a couple of years ago, night game... I cant remember who it was against, but he interfered with the run of the ball and practically got an assist out of it as the other team ran on and scored
Halsey was versus Leicester in the Fa cup.
Re Wilkie at the swamp: Football Focus a week later showed a red twat gapple a City player in their area a few minutes after the "pen". Fuck all given of course!

Penalty to Leeds in 2003/2004. Total disgrace. Alan Wiley the ref was shown the replay afterwards of Alan smith tripping over his own foot outside the box but wouldnt admit his mistake. What a prick.

I actually thought the Boyata one was a sending off.

Horlock for walking aggressively - comedy gold.

Still get riled now seeing replays of Kompany's tackle in the FA Cup - everytime I watch it, I think it looks an even better challenge
