I just watched it again on sky and, to be fair, it really doesnt do it justice at all !! Im sure they piss about with the sound so it doesnt sound as loud. It was loud as fook actually being there..
I stated on a earlier topic that I had ordered some Smoke granades. They came in time but I found it pointless takin them into the ground as I was right at the back of the east stand. I thought I was on my own with the idea but could see a few more had taken some. I set one of mine off in Mary D's. Prob not a great idea but see someone else do it and also see someone with a flare in there so though 'those alarms are goin off either way,why not' !!! fookin mad!...Iv got a few left so might save them for the last game of the season for the pitch invasion ;-)<br /><br />-- Tue May 01, 2012 8:31 pm --<br /><br />
I used to go in the south stand but I could see the singers was the place to go.So I now go there.I went back into the south stand for the Sporting game and it was fooking shocking to be fair. We only started singing when it looked like we had turned it around. Me and this other lad were trying our hardest to get some noise goin and in return we just got blank looks.

you didn't, we hardly stopped but tbf the other end is getting better. i could make out one guy on the lower tier stood facing the crowd riling them all up lol.
i thought last night was epic tbh, the whole stadium was getting behind the team and for large parts the whole east stand level one was stood. we must have had 20,000 at least stood throughout the game last night.
hamburg IMO was slightly better though due to there not being the same nerves. to be honest i hardly sang last 10, i was shaking and my mouth was so dry i felt like i was going to spew but others around me never stopped.
in 116 we must have sang "this is how it feels to be city" for most of the second half at the rags fans, they looked so gloomy and embarrassed.
what a night.

had we been 2-0 up during the 2nd half it would have been even better, the nervousness of 1-0 didn't quite let it reach the full potential but it was still the best for a good while.
imagine if toure had scored late in the 2nd half or nasri in the 89th - the last few minutes would have been heard in london.
my ears were ringing on the way out but it didn't quite come across the same on TV, although a lot of the time the commentators had to really raise their voices just to be heard.
if we win at the geordies, QPR at home will blow the roof off.

It was quiet at times, but that's nerves.
a 2-0 lead at half-time and i reckon the place would of been non-stop rocking.
Even though United didn't look like offering much, you know they can create something from nothing.
It was amazing, the 5 minutes after the game was special. It would of been like that most the second half, but the 1 goal advantage didn't let that happen.
It was incredible never the less.
so basically i blame the players for not scoring more! mancini out, ruining our atmosphere

Maybe he's Slightly Deaf in one ear?
You could be sat in the nosebleed third tier and think your the loudest section, ust like I'm biased to suggest 109/110 is loudest as I'm stood there....

It was brilliant last night but Hamburg edged it slightly for me, probably the fact their fans we're shite didn't help due to the fact we forgot they we're there!
