Best band you've seen live?

Richard Hell was a no show so we got to see Siouxsie and Subway sect.
 
Depeche Mode circa 1998, Radiohead 1998 both great sound, atmospheric and load.
James and Oasis never disappointed.
On a solo note, Julian Cope a great song writer and story teller (and more recently the same seeing Ian McNabb)

I was at that gig too, mate. Started at the front left-hand side of the stage and finished at the other side. You can have a bonus point if you can remember the other support band that night!

McNabb is brilliant with Icicle Works, solo acoustic, solo electric, with various backing bands (including Crazy Horse) he never disappoints. His between song banter can be as entertaining as his music. Literally lost count how many times we have seen him. 200+

Stood next to him a few years ago watching Cheap Trick play the Cavern club in Liverpool. So clearly a man of taste too ;-)
 
Not my favourite band to listen to but most entertaining gig I've been to was Gogol Bordello

Blur were great too. The Cribs are always great too.

Yeah they're great live

I do like the records too but I think to get the essence of them you really have to see them live
