Oasis Maine rd. We were that stoned, Two UFOs towing.Oasis, Maine Road, 1996 on the Saturday.
They nailed it and the crowd were eating out of the palms of their hands - like the band or not, they were on the crest of a wave around that time.
Shed Seven and The Charlatans have always been excellent the times I've seen them.
Have to give a mention to The Music, who supported The Charlatans around 2001ish - I'd never heard of them before, but that live performance made me a fan as they were excellent
Would have loved to see Thin Lizzy. Sinarta is an interesting one. Jackson was at Aintrea(cant spell)brother seen him. Knew it was some racecourse. Said it was goodThin Lizzy at the Apollo and many other places.
Sinatra at the Albert Hall
Michael Jackson at Roundhay Park.
Much as I love Sinatra Phil Lynott live was something else.

Was it 1992?I got a deal from Metro radio in Newcastle…bus down,4 star hotel,Sinatra and a visit to Windsor castle he next day. Some of the best money I’ve ever spent.I too saw Sinatra at the Albert Hall, on the Friday night. My ticket was a fiver! I was offered £50 for it outside but turned it down.
There was no way I was missing that show!
I saw Status Quo at Bingley as well back in those far off days, saw them a few times at various venues. Fun days.Strangely enough Colin we were there the year before watching Status Quo. My ears ached for days after as we were about 6 from the front.
Very envious that you saw the Stones mate.
Why have you tagged 2 posters? Can't pick the best but some faves..
