I like playing Risk. Sometimes I leave a tiny hair on the body to see if the police find it.

You thinking of the correct game pal? <a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risk_%28game%29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risk_%28game%29</a> :)

Hehe.

Won at Scrabble last night, even with helping the Romanian nurse. Quite close though!

A board game I really liked as a kid was Touring Europe. Draw cards with place names on and throw a die to move around the board visiting them all. Start in London, first one back is the winner. Learnt a lot about what cities were where in Europe.

Me n the missus wee playing scrabble last night and she was winning by over 40 points. I was constantly picking out one word letters and struggling. I managed to think of 'Joel' so checked the dictionary and the word was there. My misses then had look as she thought it wasn't allowed. "you can't have it" she said as it's a mans name so it's not allowed. I was getting flustered by this with a headache coming on, so I flipped theboard up, scattering all the squares onto the floor and said "there, you win"!

woman!

Brilliant! Are you speaking today?

When I read the thread title I immediately thought of Escape From Colditz and nice to see a recent mention for Game of Life. I've threatened to start buyng board games again as they're great for some family time but unfortunately Mrs Ledge just wants to watch shite on the TV.

Just started play a Scrabble (fake) game on my phone against my brother which is quite good for a laugh and a game can be played over two or three days... obviously with me emerging as the winner each time ;-)

A first mention for Snakes and Ladders - great for the younger kids and for the adventurous you can change the rules to go up the snakes and down the ladders.
