Best car chase in a movie.

I’ve never quite understood how the chasing car manages to catch up the lead car with little difficulty but can never then close the gap..

Not sure if it counts but Duel as a whole film car chase has to be up there!

I love Duel, one of my late Friday night go to films and have watched it many many times

Car chases, I love a bit of Burt in Smoky And The Bandit or the opening scenes of The Longest Yard in a classic Citroen

Duel is a simmering chase that grabs your imagination. I think one of Steven Spielbergs first films? Great entertainment

Yep and if you look closely, when Weaver his in the telephone booth at the Snakerama you can see Spielberg's reflection in the glass

It's To Live and Die in LA. Vanishing Point is great too, but it's basically the whole movie.
