Best card for ATM withdrawals abroad?

I'm soon planning on going abroad to Spain now the never ending football season has almost ended. I'm looking at using a card to withdraw money this time rather than take loads of cash. Which is the best/easiest to get? I've heard Revolute, Chase etcetera but not sure which to go for.

A bank card is the best idea, I tried a blockbuster membership card once. I wasn't impressed with the result.

They have in Ireland and EU. Maybe not for UK users.

Revolut was granted a full banking licence from its European regulator in 2021, which works as a passport across the EU, allowing it to offer full banking services in several countries
Since March 24th 2022 , Revolut has been operating as a fully licenced bank in Ireland and funds of up to €100,000 are guaranteed by the Lithuanian State company Deposit and Investment Insurance
I wouldn’t touch Revolut with a barge pole in the U.K.
It cannot get a banking licence here.

Do not use Revolut, they are not regulated and don’t have a banking licence.
We use a Halifax Clarity credit card for all card purchases abroad. No fees, interbank rate and currently even offering cash back. If you draw cash from an ATM you pay interest until the due date but it is still better than getting cash before you go.
My Mrs has a Barclaycard that does all that but also allows interest free cash withdrawals from ATMs.
We use the same as you.

I just use cash, work out roughly how much you think you will each day depending on whether you’re half board or all inclusive then use the safe in your room. Whatever you don’t spend put it to your next holida.

Is that Brexit related?
No, the company auditors are not happy with the books. Auditors were unable to get a complete picture of some of Revolut’s revenue and as a result it, or other financial balances, could be “materially misstated”.

Over the long run that will cost you if you are getting foreign currency on the U.K. high street compared to using specialist cards.
Going to buy currency for holidays on the high street means you never get the inter bank rate.

Yes I normally take just cash but I'm staying in an apartment with no safe. My mate used to stay in the same complex and I used his safe but he's since sold it, hence I'm looking at taking some cash and withdrawing it as I go from ATM 's.
