Negrado was a Great Striker..we destroyed so many teams with him and serge.Negrado is one that immediately springs to mind. He was fantastic until the LC semi final away at West Ham where he got injured. Right in front of me actually. Fell awkwardly on shoulder. Didnt seem so bad though.
Anyone have a idea what happened to him? In terms of form I mean. Was it just one of those purple patches some players have and then revert to norm? Real shame as he looked like a mobile Alan Shearer. Not quite peak Shearer but towards that class.
Went to Stoke with Biggins and later had a spell at Bury but not sure after that...Ian Scott ?? - one that often gets missed when we talk about the Lake, White, Redmond, Brightwell, Hinchcliffe age...actually scored quite a few of goals when he first started out early in the 10-1 season, and I thought he could be best of the lot, but only was a starter for a shortish period disappeared out of trace...
Anyone know what happened to him footballing wise and thereafter??
Recently watched the 81 Cup Final again. His own goal was worse than I remembered. Just what was he thinking running right across the back of the wall to chest the ball into the net?Tommy Hutchison, short lived brilliance in the twilight of an otherwise journeyman career.
Arne Arneson, played in the 4-3 win at Spurs and made an unbelievable double save. Great shout!
Edit: No that was Martin Fulop but Arnerson still a good shout.
