Best City Goalkeeper?

I used to live near a bloke who grew up in south London.

He told me he went to watch Charlton on week and Millwall the next and he said he once saw Big Frank catch the ball one-handed at full stretch with the ball flying towards the top right-hand corner of the net.

He reckoned Swifty just shaded from Bert and judging by the split of comments on here, there wasn't a fag paper between them.

Of the 'keepers I have seen for City, Big Joe is probably still the best, but TC and Harty aren't far behind.

Nicky Weaver, Schmeichel Snr and David James get honourable mentions.

Weaver made the best save I have ever seen by a City goalie; against Ipswich 1999/2000 season, though Joe Hart has pulled off some great ones since he came into the team. Schmeichel's performance in the last Maine Road derby and at Klanfield that season were superb and James gave the defence confidence after Seaman's shocking time with us. I still don't know what KK was thinking.
Better save than Arason double save at White Hart Lane?

I meant to put, 'live'.

I was at Maine Road for that game against Ipswich; I wasn't at Shite Hart Lane for that fantastic come-back.

Andy Dibble for no reason other than because he started crying when he got a ball in his face.... PMSL and also for what happened to him against Forrest, Gary Crosby .....should never have been allowed, fucking disgrace!

T.C for me, he was our mom in so many games (to any non british blues thats man of the match and not one of your parents cos if big tony coton looked anything like your ma id hate to see old fella)
