Prince at the NEC it was fantastic preferred that to Micheal Jackson at Wembley

Getting a sense of deja vu discussing this. It was Lovesexy wasnt it? Brilliant show.

Also Neil Young 87, Mondays - anywhere in 87/88,
Springsteen Roundhay Park 85, Maiden the Apollo 86.
Coldplay put on a good show at the Etihad on the last tour, not exactly the most spontaneous show but impressive fodder

probably the first gig I ever went to at Blackburn King Georges Hall - Buzzcocks supported by Joy Division!!

I challenge anyone to better that as a first live gig?

Whilst it wasn't my first gig
I went to see the Buzzcocks with Joy Division as support at the Apollo
Then went to an after gig bash as the photographer with a reporter who was some cockney **** who spent the night deriding JD
I gave him a smack for his troubles and got asked to leave the party

Roger Waters " The Wall " at the O2 London , the night that City won the fa cup against Stoke
Also an honourable mention to the Boss , Bruce Springsteen , Roundhay park Leeds mid 80s , no support act and the show lasted a good 4-5 hours and he rocked from start to finish
