Where does it say that in the rules? I could have sworn this is still a contact sport.

I'm pretty sure it would say somewhere in the rules that you can't pull a players arm when he's in on goal and you're behind him.
Once he did that it I had no complaints, and neither did Dias to be fair

both penalties on sunday were the correct decisions for me

Really can't agree. Dias put his hand on Salah's arm. I've watched it many times and there is definitely no pull or push by Dias. He didn't complain much because he knew he'd fcked up by letting Salah get in front of him when he mis-controlled the ball. Dias was resigned to the fact that a complaint wouldn't change the decision

He DIDN'T pull him.

Salah felt the 'contact' on his arm which gave him the opportunity to CHEAT.

Salah did dive, but there was still a slight pull on his arm by Dias and it was a penalty
You can't touch a forward in the box any longer.

If that is to be believed we should have at least 10 more penalties than we already have had this season, we would have missed half but that's our thing.

It was a disgrace the way Salah went down, you cant justify a minor pull back on arm by going down like you have been shot, a player from u16s would have remained on his feet

Why var is not used for diving ?
They can draw all sorts of lines and angles making it look like fucking geometry or trigonometry but they don’t have time to review diving ?
Offside is equally important as diving .

An off side is usually involuntarily, causes no harm.

Diving is actively choosing to cheat to change the outcome of a game.

It should be punished with a straight red, several game bans and heavy fines for both player and club, and repeated offenses should lead to a player losing his license.

With the refs we have, that would be City failing FFP and Sterling retiring early and penniless in a wheelchair.
