Best ever atmosphere you've experienced for a City home game

Remember when - City scored ten

10-1 v Huddersfield was a great day - huge cheer when Huddersfield managed one (a penalty I think)

I always remember the atmosphere in the North Stand when we played Arsenal in about 2001 under Joe Royle. We were 4-0 down within 20 minutes but the City fans didn't stop singin all game, the banter with the Arsenal fans that night was the funniest I've ever heard. 2nd half they brought Henry off the bench who missed an open goal in front of us that got the biggest cheer of the night. Probably not the best atmosphere ever but a top night all the same!

That was the season that Royle decided to narrow the pitch so teams like Arsenal wouldn't come and play us off the park! Didn't quite work that night!

Mine was Charlton 5-1 1985 at Maine Road
Best at Eastlands sure the best is still to come!!!
but for now Hamburg was special just a shame we didnt progress.

Worst game was Luton at Maine Road when Raddy Antic scored late on and had David Pleat dancing on our hallowed turf. Never felt as bad as that day!

- City 0-1 Southampton - Final game at Maine Road - 2003
- City 2-1 Barcalona - First ever game at Eastlands - 2003

I remember being at a city game v liverpool late 90's? we drew 2-2 and we heard or found out the ref was a rag.

The whole crowd even the liverpool fans were singing 'if you hate.....'

Only a teen so sounded really good!

Can't remember many games from maine road as i was just a little kid, but i would say hamburg in the uefa cup would be the one for me, followed by the derby match in august 2007.
