My arse, only 26000 fans last night for a uefa cup game that was still in the balance, plenty of noise from those of us who did bother to turn up but how can we expect the team to get fired up for the game when they see so many empty seats. It was only £15 in advance and £20 on the night so where were the rest of you last night, sat watching it on ITV4 no doubt and i bet when and if we reach the semi final and i pray the final you will all come out of the woodwork demanding your tickets for the games.

Yep, and I will take great pleasure in making sure I get a ticket for the final ahead of someone like you, a fooking johnny come lately, now jumping on the bandwagon and telling others their service don't count just because they were sat at home watching it on the telly.

Instanbul, Instanbul.

Maybe you can use your £5 a week spends to stock up on choccy to watch us in the final at home...ON YOUR TELLY!

Now jog on -

A little touchy there arent we? The OP is right 26,000 last night and we claim to have the best fans in the land?

Or, how can they expect us to turn up when they might/might not be fired up anyway !!! (certain players only)

(I went to the away leg but not last night )

I think people are confusing quantity with quality.

Personally I don't care if we are or aren't the best fans in the world, if people really need the reflected glory from supporting a club that gets big attendances I'm sure there are better alternatives than City.

Can I ask why you travelled to the away leg and then didn't go last night to see how the tie actually finished?

I'll tell you what:

I am fucking sick of immature pricks coming on here and preaching about "best Fans in the land - my arse", every other week.

It doesn't matter, grow up. 26K turned up, big deal. I don't blame anyone for not going when they can watch it on the telly for free. Why does it matter, unless you are some kiddie who is arsed what your Man United mates say?

Clubs don't get massive gates for Cup games, until close to the final. Every club is the same, more or less. Some do better, some do worse. City have been in the latter category for years now.

Fucking live with it and stop letting it upset you. And stop pontificating about loyalty.

And Yes, I went.

yep i'm a 35 year jonny come lately, must feel some guilt to post a shit response like that
Good response to, but some fans can't get to every game.

We need to get more fans in the ground on nights like this. And those that go, have to get behind the team. We were outsung last night by 1500 visiting fans whose team was always 2nd best.

For a country that claims to be the home of football, we have a lot to learn from the visiting fans who have shown 10 x the passion for their club, and the game
