The Blue Nile, Manchester 1992

The Jam, The Apollo circa 1982

Pink Floyd, Maine Road

Marc Almond, Salford Lowry 2011

Hall & Oates, The Free Trade Hall circa 1975

Roddy Frame... every time I see him!

Blue nile is a good shout! I saw them in Oxford mid nineties.

Oasis - Wembley - Just before they split up, i was a wreck and lost my voice, took a week to recover

KISS at the men arena last year, more so for the fact i have waited over 30 years to see them in the flesh. Fantastic show, obviously not in the their prime and only two of the original members but even so it was well worth the wait.
That was 2010 mate, and yes a great gig! First band I saw way back in 83 and saw the original line up in 96 which has to be one of the best shows ive seen.

I'm officially jealous

Did you get your username from one of their songs?

Possibly too young to match some of you guys but -

Interpol - Empress Ballroom

Radiohead - Men Arena

Muse -San Siro

Death From Above 1979 - HMV Forum

Sonic Youth - Manchester Academy.

And lastly the otherworldly Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Manc Academy

The Mars Volta - Carling Academy, Birmingham.

Can't remember what year - I'd woken up feeling a bit ill in the morning but wasn't going to miss it for the world. It was worth it, even if 6 months later I was still bloody ill.

To many to mention, but-
The Who- Kings Hall 1975
Thin Lizzy- Free trade hall 1977 bad reputation tour
Blue Oyster Cult - FTS 1978 first time any one in Manchester had seen a laser beam
Al Jarreau and David Sanbourn M/cr Apollo circa 84
Pearl Jam at Leeds first festival after Rosskill ( what a return )
Big Country and The Levellers every time I've seen them.
Garth Brooks - Croke Park
And on a country theme Reba McEntire and the Dixie Chicks at the Apollo.

However any live music is better than staying in with a cd, no matter what your taste in music is.
