Jesus Jones at Trent Poly uni, just as Real Real Real hit the mainstream. Preferred their rawer 1st album Liquidizer, but they were good and full of energy...

But still not as good as the warm-up act
Neds Atomic dustbin - front row, never heard them before, converted in wave after wave of twin bass driven full on moshing

pink floyd at maine road same year.

Was the Flaming Lips gig about 2006/7? It is the gig that immediately springs to mind when I’ve been asked what my favourite is. They released a load of orange inflatable balls into the crowd at the end if I remember right. Wayne Coyne is some showman

I went to two shows there.

That was one of them.
