Best goal you've ever seen in the flesh?

There was a goal that I just about remember Rodney March scoring at Maine Road where he juggled the ball in the air a few times, then brought the ball down, turned and smacked it into the net, so long ago though that I can't remember who it was against

It was December 72 v Southampton he scored 2 that day.

I could just about cope with Gareth Bale's strike at the ETIHAD, but when Peter Crouch volleyed past Hart at the Britannia, I started to wonder.

Thankfully it turned out ok in the end.

What about Ian "I just wellied it" Brightwell?

Danny "****" Mills v Everton at that stupid o'clock Sunday kick off. Match was also memorable for sir Joseph Twatting Phil Chuckle right in front of the Rev who ignored it.

Just for you

I remember being at a FA cup match a few years ago I think it was against Leicester ended 4-2. Anyway Tevez scored a goal that made a mess in my knickers, I always enjoyed watching him play for us he gave 100% every time.

Paul Powers free kick vs Ipswich at villa park in the fa cup semi was a bit special.

Obviously most of the best over the last 40 years have already been mentioned. Joe Corrigan's returned to Maine Road with Brighton around 1984. Pretty sure Jim Tolmie's scored an long distance audacious chip against the great man. Thought it was brilliant myself.
