This is the Day by Beefheart.
Found this only recently and I think it is better than Pulse.. which was superb by the way

Mine too, and yes, by anyone. There are maybe 30-40 songs that I've never once gotten tired of and that's one of them.
I saw them in Oakland a billion years ago (had to be the Hi Infidelity tour) and they played it -- maybe the same show!
That's at every gig you go to now; I was at the last Prince gig in Manchester, and he had told the security to stop people filming, fucking moaning allover the place.Incredible.
But fuck me look at all those pricks with their camera phones out. At a gig that's being professionally recorded.
If it was Day on the Green, it was the same show.
I could watch that on a loop... perfectionBrilliant, thanks for putting that up mate, really enjoyed it..!
It was! I went to so many DOTGs when I was young. It was cheap and you could sit on the baseball field and hear a bunch of bands. Trying to remember who else played. Journey, Night Ranger and a few others maybe?
Edit: I looked it up -- it was REO with 38 Special, UFO, Gamma (I must have missed them -- no recollection what they sounded like or who they were) and Kansas. That must have been near the first show I ever went to. I looked through the list and went to six DOTGs over the years. Journey played with Night Ranger, Triumph (which is why I went -- I loved them) and Eddie Money.
