Best Live Bands?

Took the kids to see Taylor swift last night. Really good show.

They loved it and a singer called camilla sang in a city top.

If we are talking bands in their heyday, rather than as they exist in 2018, then I'd agree with ACDC and add Simple Minds, Iron Maiden, Deacon Blue, Reo Speedwagon, Motorhead, The Who, Hot Chip

I was outside in the athletics stadium yesterday - heard plenty of soundcheck stuff going on - was it a sell out, cos I think the Friday was the first date announced and yesterday was an addition?

Don't judge, but saw Tom Jones in Vegas. Outstanding, what a voice.
I saw him at Edinburgh Castle and you are right, he has a phenomenal voice. When we saw him he had a fantastic band as well - was very impressed.

Yes looked pretty full to me. Would say 50000 there.

Good shout they were good for the money on the night...

Prodigy, Knebworth 96. Unfuckingreal.
Still one of my favs this, the sound was superb unlike oasis after who for me weren’t anywhere near as good.

Best others....Stone Roses at Spike Island, Monday’s at g-mex, New Fast Automatic Daffodils at Heaton Park and Paris Angels at the academy...all late 80’s /early 90’s

Saw them in the 80s and went with low expectations, not knowing many of their tunes, with a girlfriend at the time, and honestly, I was blown away (only by the band, sadly). They played about 3 hours, and the way they structured the show with the singer telling stories about his life, their hometown etc segueing into the next song was the nearest thing I've ever seen to a Springsteen show at his peak. Still couldn't claim to be a huge fan of their songs, but they were clearly giving it 100%, and it was one show I wont forget.
