Best Live instrumental guitar solo

Went to the cinema when the film, I think just entitled “Jimi Hendrix”, came out (mid 70s?). It's not a concert, sort of a documentary with snippets of him playing. One of the most beautiful things in it is him playing acoustic. I'd never seen or heard that before. It's the only time I've seen audiences applauding in a cinema after pieces of music in a film.
I think this might be what you’re talking about.

Brilliant performance at Woodstock from all the chaps from the Santana fraternity. Strap yourself in at the 3 minute mark if you wish to be elevated to another level of juxstaposition from Carlos. I have no idea what juxta means as it just came into my head whilst tripping on juniper berry . which incidently is a damn sight safer than the acid trip those boys were on.

Evil Ways: .. I know this ain't no drum enthusiasts thread but miene gott if Mr that Shreive ain't something special!

If you can't be arsed listening to eleven beautiful minutes of insanity fueled Nirvana then feel free to skip to the @7 minute mark where the build really commences. At the 8.30 second mark even if you wanted to evacuate you'd be empowered against your will to not sit the instrumental out.

The Last Days Of May: Its said the West is nice this time of year

Absolute mastery of the guitar. A very humble guy. No effects, just a guitar and amp. Well worth a watch.
