lol I AM SCOTTISH !

Hey Sweaty Sock Blue :-)..

Knowing you Scotish as i do, you will find a deal that is out-of-this-world no doubt...But in the meantime, you wont go wrong at the Holiday Inn mentioned earlier in the thread and check out The Brit (Brittania) as they nearly always do deals around this time of year...in the past i have called them and asked if they could match the best deal i have found (40-50 quid should do it) although its seen better times its still a decent City Center hotel and should impress the wife enough for her to show her appreciation after we win... :-)

Other than that, it f you realy want to catch the best deals i use an excellent auction site all the time over here (And have used in the UK as well) caled Priceline..."Name your own price" there is a trick or 2 to get the bext deals but its also fun trying!

All the best pal!

Just tried this priceline place
good prices, but it won't let people in the UK book, but its price for a decent room at the hilton is about half of the price on the Hilton site
Top site, and added to my favourites (I'll work out how to get past the UK bit)

Hilton offer was not available for Manchester in Feb .. pity fancied the sound of that

Try the priceline.com site. Really cheap for The Hilton

When i go over i stay at The Diamond Lodge in Gorton-£40 a night per room+
breakfast included. Nice place to stay.

Last time I came over to Manchester to watch City I stayed at the ETAP hotel next to Salford Quays. Good hotel £44 a night. Tram stop next to hotel which took me straight to Picadilly Station and then a short walk to the ground.

I admit you have to keep looking down on the ground so that you're not forced to catch sight of the Devil's playground.

80 quid for a twin room, think they throw breakfast in too. It's handy as I said we go to mother macs for a few before heading to the match, great atmosphere in there & before the juve match we got talking to a load of blues from norway.
