The eighties was the decade that music died - I blame it on MTV

My favourite 10-year span would be from '65 - '75. Best of both worlds.

So much great stuff came out in those 10 years across so many different genre's. It's unbelievable really.

I have to plump for the 65-75 ten year span. Just some amazing output in that time span. The Beatles, The Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, T.Rex, The Stooges, The Kinks, Neil Young/Buffalo Springfield/CSN&Y. All the psychedelia that was happening on the fringes. Motown. Just so many options.

65-75 is 11 years, will stick with my 68-77 as stated earlier.
