I agree! It's a proper feel good anthem that is sung with pride and passion and I also love that bit at the end where it speeds up and everyone goes-a HEY!!

Always liked the Kiwi Anthem especially when followed by the HAKA

our anthem is the only one that's about a person rather than a country. if people are anti-royal, they aren't going to sing it. this doesn't mean they're not patriotic.

Your right what would be more rousing for everyone including the royals would be LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY now that would even stir a dead man.
