Special mentions: Trevor Francis, Keith Curle, Paul Walsh, Andy Morrison and Martin Petrov

Francis
Lake
Distin
Anelka

Were the cream of some decent players.i think all four would have a shout of being in the current squad. A Francis -Erling -Anelka front line would score goals for fun in this team.

Late shout out to Mark Ward who I thought was a decent footballer.

Mike Sheron: the go to midfield pick when playing the old paper based FPL games in the office with the old man and his colleagues. Wish he'd stayed longer, that first EPL season 92/93!
Peter Beagrie: I've got rose tinted specs from when a kid but lets face it that's for the celebration.
Vedran Corluka: always struck me as one who could have gone onto a lot more at club level, the way he moved he seemed to glide sometimes.

White and Curle for the level they played, SWP, Super Kev and The Goat for the 2nd and 3rd tiers
White and curle were absolute class. We beat Liverpool 2-1 I think first home game of the season under the lights and white scored of the underside of the bar and not long after got his England call up. It’s all a bit foggy, but I have fond memories of that side.
