Best player you have seen in a City shirt

Paul Lake.....very overated, think its more of a sympathy vote for him.

Horse shit! He was so classy and was only very young. He would have gone on to be absolute top quality in my opinion. So naturally talented, played in lots of different positions and made it all look totally effortless. I personally probably wouldn't have him down as the best player I have ever seen but I can see why people might. Overrated, no chance.

Have seen them come and go over the past 30 odd years .

Carlos Tevez is the first truly world class player we have ever had who is at the peak of his career .

Kinky was awesome but not in the same league as Carlos and as for the rest merely also rans , can't remember clubs falling over themselves to sign any of them .

Difficult question
Best Goalie I ever saw Bert Trautman
Best Defender Dave Watson
Best Midfielder Ken Barnes/Bobby Johnstone
Best Striker Alex Harley
Most of them boyhood heroes who left a marked impression but have never seen a better centre half than Dave Watson

I'm 31 now and my childhood hero was David White he was fast as f*ck!

Having said that who can forget Goater not the most gifted player but he took the piss out of gary chuckle and that has to be worth something.

In the end I have to say Tevez thou and long may he continue in this form.

One thing a lot of City fans never acknowledge (same with Foe) was that just before Lake's first serious injury a lot of fans had started getting on his back, Im not saying he would or wouldn't have become a great player, just that it seems people are only remembering the good.
