Going to the villa match on mar 6. Not a lot of options...should I just go for seats closest to midfield?

Depends on your definition of a 'bad' seat. There are no bad seats, really. But, if you want a better atmosphere then the south stand is the one to be at.

Rows 1-5 anywhere are 'bad' in my view. As are the top parts of the 3rd tier.
No wonder we can't defend, they're too busy chatting to you! ;-)Excuse me, I am on row 1 and it is a brilliant view and brilliant banter with/at the players.
I am on Row 1 too. Possibly opposite to you. Really like it - apart from the rain. There are things that you see that you don't get to see at all if you're sat elsewhere. Pluses and minuses.Excuse me, I am on row 1 and it is a brilliant view and brilliant banter with/at the players.

I'm in 314 6 rows up, away fans to our right if they take the full allocation. Not sure whether Villa wil tbhlooks like section 314...
Im on row B in 116 and i love the view when we are kicking into the SS. However when we are kicking the other way its hard to sometimes judge where on the pitch the ball actually is, end up watching the big screen a lot. Being so close to the pitch though does allow for the guy sitting behind me to abuse their keeper for 45 minutes and he 100% can hear it all.Exactly Marvin, and to be honest, apart from Saturday when we played so abysmally, I don't even mind the rain. It reminds me of my earliest days of supporting football. No cover then. :-)
