Bloody yanks, massacring the English language. "Stadia", FFS.
I was going to write that, didn't think any brits would understandBloody yanks, massacring the English language. "Stadia", FFS.
Sorry, I'm one of the cunts that said this. I honestly thought that waste correct plural rather than stadiums. Rest assured, if I gave a shit I'd go back and edit stadia out of my previous post.Bloody yanks, massacring the English language. "Stadia", FFS.
Stadia and stadium are both Latin words unchanged. Stadia was the Latin plural of stadium.Bloody yanks, massacring the English language. "Stadia", FFS.
You might be nearer the pitch at Selhurst but it's a bloody awful view in much of the away section. "Restricted view" is one of the better seats.Despite the utter cunts that occupied it ;) I thought the old white hart lane was superb.
These days I like going to ANY away grounds as they ALL offer a better 'match day experience' (I fucking hate that phrase), I even look forward to going to Selhurst
Craven cottage & St James Park are my favourite domestically. Upton Park was also good, west ham's new one is shit.
Outside of the country I loved both dortmund and the bernabau.
The Bernabau is impressive the top tiers are pretty steep when you are up there. Looks impressive when you approach it, looks like someone has put a stadium in the middle of Piccadilly Gardens with it being slap bang in the middle of a bustling city.
Yankee Stadium Is a bit of Rolls Royce of a stadium, was the most expensive stadium ever build at the time but only holds 45,000. Bars and restaurants everywhere in it which is a welcome distraction from a boring sport like baseball.
