Best Stadiums

Selhurst Park has nothing going for it - it is neither a compact little ground full of character nor is it in any way big, smart or modern. Its a grade A dump.

Craven Cottage is a nice old school ground.
Mate, I never said it had anything going for it, hence the 'even', pointing out that ANY away game is better for me. I live in the postcode next door and get free tickets so it has that I suppose !

Not sure if it was the same season but I remember Colin Foster (think that was his name) doing that for West Ham against us in the 91/92 season. Then Sheron (I think) took the penalty and slipped as he struck it but it still went in.

Bloody Hell well remembered! I keep my old ticket stubs and here it is. It was nearly 30 years ago so that's my excuse for getting it wrong!

Steve Redmond I think. Remember listening to the commentary on GMR and they were saying it shouldn't have counted because he slipped as it took it, touching the ball twice twice in the process.

The Braga one is unique with massive cliff behind one end is a bit different.

So is the one in Taiwan that’s shaped like a big fuck off snake.

The distance between the upper and lower tiers makes the new stadium just wierd.
Exactly, it's shit. If you bring your kids th can at least alleviate the boredom by jumping up,and down on the trampolines they've erected between the tiers. Trampolines that cover up the scaffold underneath tied together with plastic ties set on wooden blocks

Category 4 my arse.

Great for concerts and athletics. Absolute pony for the anchor tenant

No special order: Fulham, Lord's, the old Shea. Haven't been but Melbourne Cricket Ground has to be up there, and the one in Sri Lanka with the ocean nearby.
(As for sh**houses there can be few worse than Post Office Road in Featherstone.)

The MCG is a joy. But like the Olympic stadium is only fit for cricket and AFL. Bluehammer85 just doesn't get that

Go bombers !
