1 and 2. RVP or Falcao
3. Ibrahimovic
4. Cavani

Do most of us regard Aguero as being good enough for the list above?
He ceratinly has the potential to be up there and has shown glimpses with us so far. He just needs to be more consistent and he'll definitely be up there near the top.

1.imbra
2.falcao
3.rvp
4.cavani
5.aguero

as it stands.

within 2 years

Lets exclude Messi and Ronaldo who aren't traditional strikers.

My short list

Falcao
Van Persie
Aguero
Suarez
Ibrahimovic
Cavani
Villa
Benzema

It's got to be one of those in my opinion, so who is it?

Ibra, Falco. Kun based on last year yes this year no way
"no way"? Do you watch him? He's seriously excellent almost every week. He rarely has a bad game, but sometimes doesn't always score - if that's what you're basin it on fair enough. But his work rate, desire, skill, pace and movement are almost always spot on. He's general play is no differently to last season; he's just not scored as much.

Which is quite an essential category when discussing the world's best striker at the moment, don't you think?

So Messi are Ronaldo aren't concerned strikers even though they are the most prolific scoters Europe wide?

Player....................Birthdate...........Age

Lewandowski........08/21/88...........24
Aguero.................06/02/88...........24

Benzema..............12/19/87...........25

Cavani..................02/14/87...........26
Suarez..................01/24/87...........26

Falcao...................02/10/86...........27
Gomez..................07/10/85...........27

Van Persie.............08/06/83...........29

Ibrahimovic...........10/03/81...........31

Based on that, Ibra, RVP and Falcao might be lighting up the world of Euro Football at present, but IF I WERE Mancini, I would go for Lewandowski, Benzema or Cavani.

Lewandowski is a "fox in the box" and a good header in his locker. (£25M)*
Benzema is the more traditional English-style centre forward, but with feet. (£25M)*
Cavani is fast on the break(!), good with his head and feet, van play as a lone CF. (£35M)*
(* Realistic asking price during the summer)

Lewandowski: Faster and more mobile than Dzeko, with better close control. Aerial ability?
Benzema: Faster and more powerful than Dzeko, with better close control. Similar aerial ability.
Cavani: Faster and more mobile than Dzeko, with better close control. Similar aerial ability.

Any one of these three is going to be a megastar for the next 5 years and I would be ecstatic if ANY of them donned a City shirt next season.

Running around and putting in a shift as a ''striker'' means fuk all in my books. by that logic Dirk Kyut is the best striker to ever grace this god given earth. and Kun does not pass the ball (even though people think hes changed his ways since he was very good vrs a shit leeds side).
