It's not a bad pub Egerton Arms, but it's like many of the old pubs ,totally refurbished from its original state and now mainly a restaurant pub .

Anyone ever been in the Three Stags Head inn on the A623 in Debyshire.
Its like going back in time 250 yrs,
open range fire , where the the landlady still cooks on,
flagged floors,
toilets where you piss against a tiled wall
no draught lager, just real ales and bottled Belgian beers
no crisps, nuts ect only home cooked food, soups , rabbit stew.
A bloke at the bar with a dog (in this case 2 lurchers )

Used to go with my mate. Small place, you'd drive past it if you weren't careful. Was always a guy in there with dogs. Remember the bottled beers, and some bloke one night with a guitar.

Not sure mate, but its a great pub, especially in winter!!! Here it is a few years a go.

Beverly yorkshire Nellies aka the white horse
went in a cpl of years back and now always head for it if in the area
sam smiths beers.....v cheap!
a old fire grate and stove in every room
only lit by gaslight
looks like its never been painted
but perhaps one of the most original pubs around
well worth a drink in
if you cannot remember the name when up there, just ask for the pub with gaslights everyone knows it
