Having flags or choreo sponsored by club or companies not run by fans is total lame.
If you do that you just a laughing stock and nobody in ultras circles will respect you.
All money comes from fans donations (sometimes, for big choreo it takes 2 or 3 games to collect enough money) and from merchandising (run by fans).
Bambeltown mentioned ultra is not only stadium activity but lifestyle. He`s absolutely right. Charity is very popular (hospices, homeless hostels and even animal shelters) and also many groups in Poland regularly donate blood (not long ago, after two Lechia Gdansk fans died in bus crash- and many were injured- there was so much volunteers around the country they had to close stations at some point).
There are things that most of the people never read about in mainstream media of course. That won`t sell as good as fights etc.

That would be fantastic would love to see that.... I honestly dont think it would be for class reason that would prevent this from happening in this country, i can just hear "im not being told what to wear" !

I love imagery at stadiums... flags, banners, everything. In that respect our stadium is a bit bland. Level 3 has some really nice wide banners but whenever I look at level 1/2 I imagine how great it could look if we had flags in between all the sponsor boards around the stadium. Only a few, seems to be less than last season or is it my imagination (already starting to think of last season through nostalgia-tinted goggles!)?

Aris, Poznan and Napoli are the best fans that have ever visited eastlands.

Agree they were top nights at the Eithad.

With the Aris fans my ears were ringing as if i'd been on the Amnesia dancefloor all night, and I was still feeling the beat and the tunes of their songs all night after the game. Never known anything like it.

As for English scene they`re good for sure.
More club colours in the crowd would be nice touch for me though. Casual style is good on the streets but on the game- love your club colours and wear them with pride! :)

If I´m not mistaken I think the Italian clubs sponsors/donate money to the ultras expect Napoli, mind you I could be wrong. I remember Lazio complaining about the fact that the president stopped giving them money.

part of the issue with banners or lack of them in levels 1 and 2 is down to the club's sponsors, we have people in boxes who complain bout flags being the wrong size and them hanging over. for European games for example uefa have their own set of rules and so on and so on. there is more "space" on level 3 as they don't have adverts up there but they are in the wrong place for them to be seen

Yep, first couple of pictures are from last seasons 2nd division matches. Rest is various pictures from over the years.

Thats away in Aachen (near the durch border) on a Monday night with the game on TV.

Crazy considering that one year later we might be able to secure a spot in the Euro League if we don´t fuck up the remaining matches.

Would be awesome to terrorize Europe once again, seeing that the last time we played in Europe was 7 years ago (?). We played barcodes united back then and they were pretty impressed with our atmosphere. :)
