Best War Film??

Black Hawk Down
We Were Warriors
The Thin Blue Line
Flags of Our Fathers
Letters From Iwo Jima
Patton
Bridge On The River Kwai
A Bridge Too Far
Zulu
Schindler's List
Downfall (bloody shame - as funny as many of the parodies are - that this film has become so associated with those parodies that many people who didn't see it before the funny stuff possibly won't be able to really appreciate it).

I can't be the only one who considers Black Hawk Down to be shite?

Probably far too modern for classic status, but I did enjoy American Sniper. The Pianist, Platoon, Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket, Zero Dark Thirty all excellent. But Apocalypse Now will always be the Daddy for me.
