Best War Movie

For me, Band of Brothers is the best thing that’s ever been on TV or film.

The Pacific is also very good. The good thing for me is that I watched The Pacific before I’d ever watched Band of Brothers, so I thought TP was very good with no bias towards BoB (whereas others were somewhat disappointed with TP as it didn’t compare to BoB). Then I watched BoB straight after and was blown away… but I love both!

Hanks wanted to do a third series around the Battle of Britain but I don’t think it took-off (haha!) because American audiences would be as interested as they’d not entered the war then. Shame really as that really was when Britain was under the cosh!

Dunkirk and 1917 got some bad reviews, but I thought both were very good.

I watched Greyhound last night. A tense 90 minutes but no comparison with those that we listed.

I think Tom Cruise wanted to do a film about the Battle of Britain but from the perspective of an American pilot.

Don't think that would have taken off here as there were about 15 American pilots who thought in BOB.
