Depends on the type of headache but for me a near 100% cure is sinutab.

If I feel a migraine coming on - I hit it with the following: I use sudafed nasal spray, 4 x 250mg ibuprofen, eye drops, caffeine (either coke on ice or mug of builders tea). Then I lie down and close my eyes for 20 mins. I get them from some combination of stress / sinus pressure / dry eyes / lack of sleep.

2 X 200mg (or single 400mg) Ibruprofen and 2 x 500mg Paracetamol with water. Normally fixes it in 20 mins. You can take them again every 4 hours. Up to max dose for day. Drink plenty of water as well as most headaches are due to dehydration.

Whatever you do however don't take Paracetamol and Co-codamol, as co-codamol contains paracetamol.
