All about opinions in it :)
Indeed. If there were no different opinions, Blue Moon would be like RAWK :)

Yes, I'm not saying there are no scenarios where a defender might have misread a play. I'm saying the idea that having to tackle means you've misread the play is wrong. Because there are a ton of scenarios where there are no plays to be read. The winger gets the ball and attacks you as a fullback. You have 2 choices. Retreat or tackle. Often tacke is the correct choice.Hmm, there does. Look how Fernandinho got done against Vinicius Jnr at the Etihad.
Sometimes wingers dribble past the defender, other times they don’t.
Its also fair to say that Zabaleta got far more cards for tactical fouls having been beaten with no chance of recovery.
Walker’s pace allows him two bites of the cherry, hence he can commit a bit more and know his speed can get him out of trouble too if needs be.
Fair enough. You can still block or intercept when the winger is trying to take you on though. That’s what Walker tries, more often than not.Yes, I'm not saying there are no scenarios where a defender might have misread a play. I'm saying in those scenarios Zabba was better.
Would you, the three seasons he was brilliant for us.Yes, I’d like you to say when you think Zabaleta was better than Dani Alves.
Thanks for your non-response. It doesn‘t answer the question, but it does show your snarkiness.Would you, the three seasons he was brilliant for us.
As a top city fan, you'll know which three seasons those were.
But Zaba was better at intercepting and blocking. What makes Walker great, and why I have him as my best FB of this era is that he has the capacity to erase his errors and those of others. And when the other team has a speedy winger, you can comfortably play a high line with Kyle.Fair enough. You can still block or intercept when the winger is trying to take you on though. Ok, Dax, well leave it there. They’re both great football players. But Zaba was better at intercepting and blocking. Tactically, Kyle was a more adaptable fullback. But I believe Zabba was a superior footballer.
We forget now, but Kyle used to have one brain dead error almost every 3rd game for a while. I won't exchange Kyle for anyone, not even peak Zabba. But I won't sell Zabba short either. That man was amazing in many ways.
Yep, hence Vinny’s interview was done down the side of a Leisure centre, lol.Weren't kpmpany and Zabba bought pre takeover?
I think they got in one or two games after the takeover though.Weren't Kompany and Zabba bought pre takeover?
