just finished this season, wow. the typical slow build-up where seemingly inconsequential moments add up to it all bubbling over. loved it.

the only episode that felt a bit of an odd one out was 8, it felt like it belongs in BB for me. but great finish. Lalo is such a great character. Kim seems to have finally snapped. Oh Nacho!

Agree with all of that. The show is clearly at its best with the cartel, Fring, Mike, Saul and Kim. All the stuff with Chuck, a lot of Jimmy, Mesa Verde etc all went on far too long.

If they’d cut the first 4 seasons into two and left this series as a third series we’d all be saying it’s one of the greatest. Instead it’s not fit to be discussed in the same breath as BB.

Not for me, personally, i find the opposite, im more intrigued and interested in the characters that outwith breaking bad, kim, chuck, nacho. And now lalo.
I'm not in it for the BB element, references or nostalgia, eventhough i do love it. It has enough going for it wothout it, and it is great with it.

Season 3 was still the best for me, and it is the stuff with chuck that makes it.

How much it has to offer is why so many enjoy it for very different reasons.

You could cut every single season down to half of it. defeats the point, it is the build-up as much as the event.

I’m struggling to remember a more intelligent drama. Funny and perilous at the same time. I understand why some think it’s slow, but I think BCS is kicking-back against the need to rush the story, but still delivering seriously tense scenes.

Can’t wait for the next series. I’m pretty sure that it wont disappoint.

we binged this over the last few weeks, we rate this higher than Breaking bad mostly because we both found Walt to be such a bastard it made us want him to die.

I sacked this off after s1. Mainly because it didnt grip me like breaking bad did, and I just thought it was just going to be a shit spin off.
Seems I made a big mistake by the sound of it. I had no idea it is now s5!
Deffo need to revisit

It's a cracking programme. One of my very favourites.

I know that's good advice, but I have the attention span of a forgetful goldfish.
I've been known to sack a series off after 10 minutes, never mind a season.
The sopranos being a case in point, never got beyond ep 1.
And the lord of the rings, 20 mins in is the best i've managed.
