2012, it was Utd

2012 was late, and we needed 2 goals. Today we needed 3 and before the first goal we didn't look like scoring. In 2012, we had a striker.

2022 for me. 3 goals in 5 minutes, end of.

There was a lot of similarities with 2012 - I thought there first goal was a carbon copy as the QPR goal in the build up

also we were why off our form against QPR (similar to today for the first 76 mins - was Gundogs 1st goal our first shot on target ?)

If these had been two random mid-season games then the Villa comeback would have been far more impressive.

But it's a bit like comparing Kompany's goal against Leicester to Aguero's goal against QPR. One may have been more impressive but contextually only one is triumphant.
