Big Phil Caicedo

they are nowhere near as good as Caicedo.
Based on what? A few goals in a league full of shit apart from 3 or 4 teams, or his uncanny ability to miss open nets from 2 yards and get offside 1523 times a game?

Come back to me when Caicedo bags 23 in a season in England, or tears Inter apart in a Champions league game at the San Siro.

So nobody has ever missed an open net? What about Tevez at sunderland? What about Messi against Espanyol last week?

Bearing in mind that Caicedo is only 22 he still has a lot of time on his side, Anelka was offside more than anyone but hes still a good player.

Sadly mcfcconner is the "new generation" of fan this club will now attract.

The type that label someone shit based on stupid grounds because they don't score 50 a season.

Caicedo is better than Jo, RSC and Adebayor.

Nobody is offside more than Ade.

Jo is too weak for the english style of play.

RSC is RSC.

I notice Wheelsy doesn't talk about Caicedo anymore, after saying he would never ever score for City.

Do shut up you nob. You signed up in August. I'm labeling him shit because that's what he is. Ask any manager in world football who they'd pick between a fully fit RSC, Adebayor and Caicedo (Jo is excluded) and I'm telling you now that you wont get anyone picking Caicedo.

Oh and it's rich of you to have a go at me for slagging off a player when all you do is create threads criticizing our own. Tosser.

Do you talk with every other manager on a regular basis?

No, I'm just stating the obvious. The other 2 have good track records in the top leagues and Caicedo has scored a few in the last month or so. Benjani Esq.

RSC and Ade have achieved far, far, far more in football than Phil so far. Can't believe anbody can dispute that. Phil is young and could improve, but he's not fit for our first team now and certainly not for where we're aiming.

How'd you remember that? I said that almost three years ago, based in his appearances under Sven. Stalker ;)

But I have also said after that I think he could have done a job for us. We've probably outgrown him for good now. He had a knack for being in the right place at the right time, and scoring sort of scrappy goals. Sort of like, dare I say it, the Goat.

We looked good with him up front at the end of Hughes' first year.
