this is just in my experience since 1987.

No way Kit Symons or Robbie Fowler should be on that list...

Samaras considering our precarious financial position at the time. We could have been relegated for many years (and might never have had Thaksin or Sir Sheikh) if not for Dunne, Distin, Richards, Barton and Mpenza.

haha forgot about Buster Phillips!

“Buster will be the first British £10 million pound player” Manchester City manager Alan Ball on signing Martin 'Buster' Phillips from Exeter for £500,000 in 1995. Bally was only two noughts out - when the spindly winger did move on, to Portsmouth in 1998, it was for £100,000. Phillips later cost Plymouth a princely £25,000.

Everyone you mention will never EVER be as bad a a certain Mr Laurent Charvet!
Totally agree he would stand next to the attacker and just before the set piece was taken he would slip away from them but Fowler and his scouse pointing friend were poor too.

Jamie Pollock. That's it, I've been trying to remember his name for the last two days! I remember buying him from 'Boro on Championship Manager years ago when I played it, and he was brilliant. Drove my team forward and got loads of goals from midfield. Then we signed him.....SHITE! I remember being in the Kippax on one of the horrible dark sad days and we got a throw in. Pollock came over to get the ball and started to wave his arms maniacally at the Kippax, and everyone then starting cheering and shouting etc, etc, because good old Jamie got them going. I just sat there and thought 'start playing football you wanker and maybe we'd have something more to get worked up about other than a throw in at the half way fucking line'.....that's my abiding memory of him. FUCKER....good on Championship Manager and SHITE in real life!
