Biggest tearjerking movie moment ever

I got something in my eye watching the final scenes of `After the promise`, also found the final scenes of Blackadder not so much tearjerking but I sat there in a pretty reflective state of mind for a good while afterwards.

The ending of the movie Big Fish because it reminds so much of my Grandad who like the character in the movie used to tell us crazy stories as kids e.g. a shark bit off his leg and it grew back in 2 weeks, he had a 30ft ape and the government took it off him etc. but sadly like the character in the movie he to died of cancer.

my sisters keeper is a horrible film which shouldn't have been made!

Well said, took my 2 step daughters to see it last year, they laughed as I blubbed most of the way through it.

The ending of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

I've never heard so many people crying in a cinema before. The fact that things like this really happened, and that they were children, so naive and ignorant thinking they were being treated kindly by being given shelter and then being sent in to have a shower. And that moment where they hold hands during the confusion and screaming, and that final moment when the parents realised what has happened, the expression on the father's face and the mother's cry. Its such a heartbreaking film, i've yet to watch it and not cry!

yeah, horrible to imagine what they went through.

I said earlier that I can cry at pretty much anything but one thing that really makes me bawl is the final scene of Blackadder when they go over the top (I know it's not a movie but it breaks me up).
