If you have access to a car, get up to Delamere Forest. Awesome for biking, (if its a mountain bike you have).
I don't drive, but I've got the train to Delamere from Manchester/Stockport a few times. I've got a road bike, but the last time I went there you could rent mountain bikes for a reasonable price.

I also fell of a mountain bike on one of the stone paths there while I had my top off; going head first over the bars and sliding on my bare chest for a good few feet. Most painful thing I've ever felt.
Urggh, Christ! That big stone hill that goes to the top up to where the pilons are etc, me and my mate often talk about how it's probably best to die than fall on there whilst belting it at top speed. Must reach 30mph plus on the way down that. We don't wear head gear so in the end I stopped doing it. Watching my mate come trundlng down at top speed is fucking scary as fuck. I come down the dirt tracks now, much more fun anyway than going in a straight line.

Settle down. It`s still before 10pm.

But yea, sounds good. I don't wear a helmet either, as I have a huge head and it just looks silly. Style > safety.

I need a mountain bike.

Still not too late.
