Through his determined fight against such a cruel and unforgiving disease Danny made me smile, made me proud (that a man could be so thoughtful under such stress), made me feel humble and also gave me hope that he could beat the fucker.

I know a little of how his family must feel as I lost my own dad to cancer but I would imagine that their sadness and feelings of loss will rightly be accompanied with real pride in who he was and how he lived.

My thoughts are with his family and those who could call him a friend and I must admit I am jealous that I never had that chance to meet him.

RIP.

Just like to say a huge thanks to Sue and Nikki for the donation from this night. Its a big chunk of what we need to get married and I can't thank attendees enough for their generosity.
Di and myself are looking forward to the big day so much, and you fantastic people have made it possible.
